About Sporter’s Studio…
Steve Porter, pianist and composer began making midi tracks back in the early days of midi. Back then, sample libraries were not common, and Steve used an array of rack gear to create sounds of big bands, orchestras, and small combos.
As both sampling technology and studio technology advanced brought about by advances in the production and recording of digital sound, Steve began building a project studio which would allow him to produce more realistic, natural sounding recordings. Using Tascam’s Gigastudio ™, Steinberg’s Cubase Nuendo ™, and an array of computers and sound libraries, Steve produces a wide variety of music for most any application.
